GRANTS
It’s time to start applying for more grants. Please let us know of any new sponsors out there offering community grants. Any comments on what you think we should be asking to spend the money on?
MEETINGS
We still meet at Brewsters every 4th Monday of the month. This is at Tilgate Park, Tilgate, Crawley. We meet at 6pm. This may change, as there are a few rumours that Brewsters may be loosing the play area. Please phone to check before going to Brewsters.
Squirrels Playgroup, Our Lady’s Playgroup in Langley Green and St. Margaret’s School-
Desmond Anderson School let us have a Valentines Card Competition. The main aim of the idea was to raise the profile of the group and attempt to get some communication going. The leaflets given also had all the details of the events on the back. There were 3 entries; my own son and the other 2 children were those that I child mind. To follow things through, we gave them a few bars of chocolate each. Hopefully we may be able to use their pictures sometime. The competition was open to all the other members but, to date there have been no entries.
We welcome any chance to raise our profile so if you have any ideas to help then please contact us. Perhaps your school, playgroup or social group would become involved in our next event, hold a small grid game to raise money with a percentage going to a charity of your choice or perhaps you have some other ideas?????
